Joanna bond received Arts Council funding to develop a social ingaged creative performance, presentation and film response to reinstating a railway-line in West Wales. Joanna brought together an interesting group of artist such as Jake Whittaker, Peter stevenson, Ceri Rhys Matthews. Reconnecting the locations and histories of the line through creative responses to the journey. Developing a performance in October 2015.

They walked along and traveled by steam to some of sections of the old railway line, created photographs, recorded stories, singing in tunnels, performance art pieces with a gramophone and vitage railway records, on abandoned stations, tunnels and at the Gwili Railway, a Welsh heritage railway, preserved railway line from the site of Abergwili Junction along a short section of the former Carmarthen to Aberystwyth.

Thank you to ACW, Ceredigion Museum, Simon Whitehead for helping me device a performance art peice using with a historical objects such as a milk churn and a train window, thank you also to other artist who were inspired to get on board (Excuse the pun!) Naomi Heath, Ruth Hogg and Marc Hughes.
