“I’ve followed Joanna’s work for several years now, first encountering it during her project Singing the Line into Existence, which I thought was a brilliant and creative socially-engaged project.Joanna’s work continues to have a strong element of social engagement, working in interesting ways with current relevant issues. She’s a convener of engagement, always ebullient and excited in pursuit of something different”. Alisa Miller freelance visual arts consultant 2016

The museum was a creative partner with Joanna Bond on her previous project “Singing the Line Into Existence” in which she delivered an impressive multidisciplinary performance that drew a large audience, filling our auditorium to capacity. The performance incorporated several artists, live performance art, live music and storytelling with film and was very enjoyable. Ceredigion Museum benefited from being associated with such a successful creative project. Carrie Canham Curator of Ceredigion museum 2016

“At the end of 2016 I went to see one of Joanna’s shows: ‘ Inseparability of Human & Nature ‘ at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre. I very much enjoyed this piece which Joanna had directed & performed with a talented cast of actor/musicians. I found it to be both charming and unusual. It exhibited what I considered to be a fresh approach to small scale theatre production” Josephine Lloyd-Welcome actor & director 2016

“I know Joanna as an experienced maker and i have been impressed by her commitment towards this project and its long term objectives. She is crossing over into performance making here and brings with her some interesting approaches and qualities, as well as the ability to galvanise other artists and public around an expanded idea of movement and people”.
