I love making with clay, It’s such a tactile earthy material. I started my journey with clay by specialising in ceramics on a Btec national diploma, then a HND in ceramics and glass in 1997. I worked as a pottery assistant in Ireland, teaching adults with learning difficulties in Cardiff and running community projects creating ceramic murals and tile workshops.

I have exhibited and have sold my work at craft shops and craft fairs and online 

I mainly make functional ceramic such as tiles, jugs, bowls, jewellery cups, kitchen tiles. My work is inspired mostly by plants, motherhood and the human body. I usually create a form like a cup then decorate it using leaf prints, coloured clay, slips, stains and glazes or painting directly on to the piece using cobalt blue.
