A multidisciplinary performance at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, combining live music, singing, dance, and plant music. Collaborating artists included Naomi Heath, Ruth Hogg, Stu Hampton, and Milly Jackdaw.

The performance explored our relationship with nature and the Earth, highlighting how intimately interconnected we are with the natural world.

A Meditation on Connection and Mobility

A Meditation on Connection and Mobility explores why connection is important and what happens when we experience disconnection.

The project was a solo walking performance from Aberystwyth to Carmarthen, followed by a train journey to Swansea, then Cardiff, continuing on the reinstated Valleys railway line to Cwmcarn, before a final three-mile walk to the town of Abercarn, where I grew up.

Throughout the journey I recorded my thoughts, interacted with members of the public, danced in public spaces, and created a miniature installation using model railway figures holding banners with simple, contemplative messages such as Make Peace and Mindfulness.

At the time, I was also carrying my second child in my womb, adding another layer to the themes of connection, movement, and becoming.
